Hello, and welcome to my webpage!

My name is Dario Mortini. I am currently a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Southern Denmark, as part of Mikkel Gerken's project Scientific Testimony in a Diverse Society. Before that, I was a visiting fellow at the Tilburg Centre for Moral Philosophy, Epistemology and Philosophy of Science.

In September 2022 I completed my PhD at the University of Glasgow, where I was a member of COGITO (Epistemology Research Centre). My supervisors were Chris Kelp and Adam Carter. My examiners were Ernest Sosa and Mona Simion.

I work primarily in epistemology, but I also have wide-ranging interests in legal philosophy and general philosophy of science.

In 2021, I was in receipt of a Royal Institute of Philosophy Jacobsen fellowship to research the ethics and epistemology of eye-witness testimony. Between January and June 2022 I was visiting the Cologne Centre for Contemporary Epistemology and Kantian Tradition under the supervision of Sven Bernecker.
